I am a TOPS grad: Lunchtime Likes Facebook Campaign
To create a social media campaign to gain likes on Facebook, gather information and create a database of TOPS graduates.
The Lunchtime Likes campaign was conceptualized as a way to involve every four-year university in the state of Louisiana in the overall #IamaTOPSgrad campaign. Each university had the opportunity to win $10,000 for their school by simply getting the most likes on their school's picture within a twenty-four hour period.
This successful campaign garnered over 2000 new likes to the I am a TOPS grad Facebook page during the month of June 2014, which more than doubled the amount of likes that the page had achieved the four months prior. Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana won the contest with 2,312 likes.
Northwestern State University was particularly engaged in this contest by creating graphics to garner more likes on their assigned day.
